Privacy Policy

Tauroid is operated by Viridel Inc. (“Viridel”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use tauroid.dev, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Waitlist. The email address you give us when you join the waitlist.
- Your account. Your name and email address, and a hash of your password if you sign up with one. If you sign in with GitHub, we receive your GitHub name, email address and profile picture.
- What you build. Your prompts, your conversations with Tauroid's agent, and the games you create: their code, assets and version history.
- Usage. Aggregate page-view statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites, and the operational logs our servers keep to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run Tauroid: to create your account, sign you in, and build and store your games.
- To send you email about the service: your waitlist confirmation and invitation, verification and password-reset codes. We do not send marketing email.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
AI models
When you ask Tauroid to build or change a game, your prompts, your conversation and the relevant game code are sent to the AI model providers that power Tauroid's agent (currently Anthropic and OpenAI), through Cloudflare's AI Gateway. The agent may also screenshot your running game and send the image to a model for review. These providers process this content to generate responses for you under their own commercial terms.
Who processes your data
- Convex stores your account and a record of each game you create, and runs sign-in.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, stores your conversations with the agent and your games' files and assets, sends our email, runs the Turnstile bot check on public forms, provides Web Analytics, renders game screenshots, and routes requests to AI model providers.
- Anthropic and OpenAI run the AI models.
- GitHub, if you choose to sign in with it.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Cookies and local storage
We keep your sign-in session and your display preferences (theme, sidebar state) in your browser's local storage and one preference cookie. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and games for as long as your account exists. Deleting a game removes its files, assets and conversations. Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them. Operational logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to remove you from the waitlist, by emailing support@tauroid.dev. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
Tauroid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For significant changes, we will notify account holders by email.
